  • STRIDE beacon to detect radioactive elements in queues

    The STRIDE sensing units have been designed primarily for safety installations in public places. 

    The STRIDE is a beacon dedicated to the detection of radioactive materials and threats. It has been designed to be integrated into most environments:

    - Control of people in the queues (300 series) for places of transit (airports, ports, factories …)
    - Monitoring of underwater radiactive elements (400 series), eg for plant waters or underwater discharges
    - Control for fixed installation for machine outputs for example (300 series)

    Designed around a NaI scintillation detector. It offers excellent sensitivity, even for low sources of radioactivity. The identification takes only a few seconds (variable according to the nuclide, the number of nuclides, the activity of the source, the background noise and the presence or absence of shielding) and the resolution is incomparable to a conventional plastic scintillator.

  • Fission Meter - Portable Neutron Source Identifer

    The Fission Meter is the most advanced detector and SNM source identifier on the market - it is the indispensable tool to combat the traffic of fissile sources (plutonium, uranium...); central elements to make dirty or nuclear bombs. 

    The new threats are making the authorities becoming increasingly vigilant. The Fission Meter can be used for the detection of fissionable materials used in “dirty bombs” or nuclear bombs.

    These materials are neutron emitters (Plutonium, Uranium) and although some tools such as the Detective allow gamma-ray spectrometry to have the best identification, it is possible that the fissible materials are sufficiently concealed so that their gamma radiation is not detectable. Neutron detection is the only prevention solution.

  • IdentiFINDER R500

    The IdentiFINDER R500 (formerly the RadHUNTER™) is an extremely sensitive and accurate portable radionuclide gamma identification system (riid). 

    Available in two configurations (NAl and LaBr), the R500 is capable of detecting, locating, measuring and identifying precisely and quickly the sources of contamination thanks to their signiture of gamma radiation.

    The R500 NGH uses a 0.75″ thick and 4″ diameter NaI (Tl) detector, while the R500 HGL ultra 3n uses a LaBr3: (Ce) detector of 1.5″ by 1.5″. Both instruments come with a GM tube for high gamma dose rate measurements and a sealed He3 detector with moderator for neutron detection. Each device comes in a carrying case with battery charger, communication cables and analysis and synchronization software.

  • IdentiFINDER R400

    The R400 is a new generation instrument largely based on the original IDENTIFIER. The R400 is capable of accurately detecting, locating, measuring and identifying radionuclides that emit gamma radiation.

    The ability to detect gamma ray sources as well as the presence of neutrons in the radiation field through an optional neutron detector increases the versatility of the R400.

    The standard R400 includes a 1.4″ (35mm) diameter NaI (Tl) detector and 2″ (51 mm) long plus a GM tube for high gamma dose rate measurement. The instruments are supplied with carrying case and wrist strap, standard cable, battery for rechargeable and non-rechargeable batteries, charger and carrying case with shoulder strap. Optionally, a sealed 3He neutron detector can be added for neutron detection. The identiFINDER R400 is also available in a fully watertight hull. Variations in operating conditions may affect the performance of the isotope radio-identification devices (riid) with the scintillation detectors.

  • QPS100 Millimeter Wave Body Scanner

    HTDS introduces the QPS100 (Quick Personnel Security), a millimeter-wave body scanner (with more than 300 transmitters and an analysis height of 2.35m) that automatically detects concealed objects worn on the body or under clothing. 

    The QPS100 is mobile and can be installed by 2 men. It is designed for an implicit respect of privacy and its design in the form of a “wall” – not a cabin – avoids the problem of claustrophobia.

    The relevant data is acquired in 16 milliseconds. The system detects all types of concealed objects (metal, ceramics, plastic and liquids) and is already ECAC certified (European Civil Aviation Conference). National certification is underway and is expected to be completed in July when a test phase is launched at Munich Airport (MUC). Due to its low weight (approximately 300kg divided over two modules), it is mobile and can be easily used at checkpoints or military base entrances.

  • PINS3 -CW: Gamma spectrometer with portable neutron activation

    The PINS or Portable Neutron Spectrometer is the ideal tool for detection and identification of explosives or gases without opening the container and therefore with a minimum risk of contamination.

    Gamma neutron activation spectrometry is the ideal technology for the detection of dangerous chemical elements (explosives, chemical weapons, toxic elements…). It is non-intrusive, and therefore does not require the opening of the containers which could be ammunition.

    The PINS3-CW will produce neutrons (the neutrons are very penentrating) that will interact with the compound to be analyzed and produce gamma rays, these specific radii for each element are identified/ analyzed, which allows us to know the chemical elements present and thus to detect a hazard.
