A decade box can simulate or substitute an impedance value (R, L or C) in a very precise way. Dialectrimeters allow you to measure dielectric strength between two conductive parts. This represents the maximum value of the electric field that the medium can withstand before the triggering of an electric arc. It is therefore used to define the maximum resistance a material can support in terms of electrical voltage.
Milliohmmeter (low resistance ohm meters) are useful for measuring very small resistances. These ohm meters (also referred to as 'ohmmeter' and 'micro-ohmmeter') are used to achieve accurate low resistance measurement values. On devices such as switches, relays connectors and printed circuit boards, a low resistance measurement ohmmeter or milliohmmeter is recommended as these values require precise data. Micro-ohmmeter and milliohmmeters are perfect for measuring low resistance or conductive characteristics of these components.
HTDS high resistance megohmmeters include analog megohmmeters, digital megohmmeters and digital ohm meters used for making high resistance measurements or insulation resistance testing on wire & cable, components & materials. Our megohmmeters accompany you to locate resistive faults and to measure the isolation capacities of any equipment or wiring that could pose a safety hazard in case of default.
An LCR meter measures inductance (L), capacitance (C), and resistance (R). Some of the key features to look for in an LCR meter or impedance meter are: accuracy, test frequency, measured parameters, test voltage and test current. An LCR meter or impedance meter must have the flexibility to provide multi-parameters over wide frequency and voltage ranges. HTDS offers a wide range of LCR meters and impedance meters for the measurement and analysis of passive components and materials.
Electrical safety analyzers
An electrical safety tester performs electrical tests required by the main standards concerned by the french low voltage directive (Dbt) and compliant with different french regulations: EN, NF, UL, iec, csa, vde… The testers offered by HTDS allow you to make the choice between different tests or perform all them in a row : tests of insulation resistance, ground bond testing, measurement of leakage currents, AC / DC hipot tests, open / short circuit testing...
