The ProtectIR TM from 908 Devices is a next-generation portable analyzer, based on Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) technology. Designed specifically for field use, this device enables fast, accurate and reliable identification of solid and liquid chemicals even under the most demanding conditions.
Compact, robust and intuitive, the ProtectIR is aimed at emergency response teams, law enforcement, HAZMAT teams as well as military personnel, providing them with an immediate on-site analysis capability, without needing to resort to a laboratory.
Thanks to its advanced FTIR technology, the ProtectIR is able to detect and identify a wide range of chemical threats, including:
