Crime-lite® AUTO portable forensic station
Foster+Freeman
The Crime-lite® AUTO is a cutting-edge portable system designed for the rapid detection, precise examination, high-definition image capture, and instant sharing of evidence invisible to the naked eye. Ideal for both crime scenes and forensic laboratories, this all-in-one instrument enables the efficient identification of a wide range of biological traces and residues.
The Crime-lite® AUTO is a cutting-edge portable system designed for the rapid detection, precise examination, high-definition image capture, and instant sharing of evidence invisible to the naked eye.
Advantages
Compact and ergonomic design, ideal for confined analysis environments
Quick installation without requiring major modifications to the laboratory or workstation
Reveals invisible elements (chemical and biological residues, latent writings) through advanced lighting technology
High sensitivity for precise detection of subtle traces or invisible alterations
Automatic stabilisation function for objects or documents to ensure optimal results during each analysis
The Crime-lite® AUTO technology operates using an advanced process that enables the detection and analysis of residues invisible to the naked eye on documents or objects. Items to be analysed are placed under a specific light source, which emits adapted light wavelengths to reveal subtle traces, such as chemical and biological residues or latent writings.
Thanks to its powerful multispectral illumination and integrated camera, the Crime-lite® AUTO detects bodily fluids (semen, saliva, sweat, etc.), latent fingerprints, bone or tooth fragments, hair, fibres, and suspicious textile materials. Ergonomic, autonomous, and intuitive, it optimises fieldwork by providing clear and reliable results, while ensuring traceability and evidence integrity.
The analysis detects differences in fluorescence or absorption of chemical residues present on surfaces. This information is captured and processed in real time, providing a clear image of invisible elements and facilitating their identification within judicial investigations.
UV, VIS, NIR illumination with up to 55 possible combinations
20 Mpix camera with UV, VIS, NIR detection, autofocus, and image and video capture
Optical zoom: up to x10
Smart interface: high-resolution touchscreen, intuitive software, and mobile phone compatibility
10-inch colour touchscreen with an intuitive user interface
Analysis of objects and documents within the scope of judicial investigations
Precise detection of chemical and biological residues as well as latent writings invisible to the naked eye
